The iPhone alarm is a very handy function to have. It replaces the need to buy an alarm clock and at the same time deliver the outcome that you want, and that is to wake you up in the morning.
However, the noisy sound of the alarm might be an annoyance to other people besides you. For instance, if you stayed in a dormitory, you would not want your iPhone to wake up somebody else with your alarm sound. Especially if you want to wake up very early in the morning.
Luckily, Apple recognizes the need to have your iPhone to vibrate only and without the alarm sound. Here is the step by step on how you can adjust the settings.
At your iPhone home screen, tap on the Clock icon
It will show you your Alarm setting. Tap “Edit” at the top right
Choose the Alarm setting that you have to enable your alarm clock time
At the alarm setting, scroll down and tap at “Sound”
At the Sound settings, tap “None” to disable the alarm sound. By disabling this, your iPhone alarm will no longer emit any sound
Now scroll up and tap at the “Vibration” to set the vibration mode
In the Vibration settings, you can choose what type of vibration that you want. Or you can also create your very own vibration there.
