If you are the person who likes to search for any information instantly on your smart gadgets and mobile devices, you probably want to set Google as your homepage in your smart gadgets.
So, how do you make Google a homepage in your smart gadgets? If you are using Chrome as your web browser in your smart gadgets, notice the three lines at the top right corner of your chrome. It represents Chrome menu and you need to click on that and then choose settings.
You will then see the “Appearance” selection. Click on the “Show home button” and it will show the “Change” link.
Click on the “Change” link and you will then be shown a pop-up on “Homepage”. Choose open this page and type www.google.com and click ok. Once done, each time you open the Google Chrome, it will immediately goes to Google search engine first.
However, if you are more familiar with Internet Explorer, go to the top right hand corner of the explorer and click on the icon. Try to find the ‘Internet option’ link and it will immediately shows you the setting. On the ‘Home Page’ section, just type in www.google.com.
It will automatically set your Internet Explorer to land into Google page each time it is open. However, if you are using an office laptop, sometimes the system administrator will lock this settings and you will not have much option to change this. And for other browser such as the Android browser, the way to change and set google as your homepage is sometimes similar.
